Opel Astra Diesel Hybrid Concept:

The new Astra project is a hybrid Diesel-Electro car runned by a 1.7-liter CDTI engine and two (30-kw and 40-kw) electric engines. The new Astra has 25% better fuel consumption, and better dynamics. The 125-hp and 280-Nm diesel engine and the 40-hp + 52-hp electro engines rockets the Astra from 0 to 100km/h in under 8 seconds, while it keeps the fuel consumption at only 4 liters / 100km.
 
Astra invades the American market:
Saturn Astra
Saturn has revealed their new midsize sedan model, which is built on the Opel Astra. They have made a few changes on the car to suit the American market. You can only buy it with V6 engines. Saturn Aura is built on Opel Vectra.
